Our client is a leading name in transport and logistics that keeps Australia moving. They are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join their dynamic team in a critical on-call, part-time support role.

Your Impact: What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the "go-to" person, stepping in to support core operations and provide essential coverage. Your days will be a dynamic mix of:

  • Customer Coordination: Be the calm, helpful voice for our key clients. You'll manage bookings, handle urgent escalations, and smooth out any bumps in the road.
  • Driver Support: Play a key role in our daily success by reviewing and processing driver paperwork and handling debriefs to successfully close out the day's runs.
  • Logistics & Scheduling: Master the timetable! You'll manage delivery slots and process customer booking requests with precision.
  • Operations Teamwork: Work hands-on with our depot staff to ensure seamless service delivery and keep our trucks rolling on time.
  • Admin Support: Lend a crucial hand to the Admin and Depot Manager with various daily tasks and reporting.

The Hours: Your Flexibility is Our Strength

This role is built on a part-time base with a crucial flexibility component:

  • Core Hours: 10 hours per week
    • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • You must be available on-call to step in and cover unplanned leave (like sick days or holidays). This flexibility is essential to our operations and may occasionally include weekend work.
